What is Camelia, in one sentence? +
A private travel studio that designs your personal way of travelling — pace, place and pattern — so the trip feels unmistakably yours.
Who is this for? +
People who want depth over volume: fewer moves, better timing, calmer days, and choices made with taste rather than trends.
What do you actually deliver? +
A complete travel blueprint: routing and pacing, where to stay, what to do (and what to skip), daily flow, interactive maps, audio guides and practical details — presented clearly so you can travel without decision fatigue.
Are you a travel agency? +
No. The service is travel design and planning. You receive a plan and booking pathway; you book directly with the providers in your own name.
Do you book flights, hotels and restaurants for me? +
You book directly using links, codes and instructions provided in your plan. When partner perks are available, they're routed through that same pathway.
What makes this different from a typical itinerary? +
It's not a list of highlights. The work is the design of time: how your days feel, how much you move, where you base yourself, and the level of structure vs freedom — sequenced to your energy and preferences.
How does pricing work? +
Design pricing starts from €300 per travel day, based on scope and complexity. You receive a transparent quote after the initial consultation — no surprises.
What is the payment structure? +
Typically three stages: a 50% deposit to begin after the Travel Brief is defined, 25% part way through planning, and a final 25% to unlock the completed itinerary with named hotels, restaurants and booking instructions.
What is the process, start to finish? +
Free Welcome Consultation → Travel Brief and quote → Design phase → Draft plan → Final unlocked itinerary package with booking pathway and support details.
How far in advance should I start? +
Earlier is always better for high-demand seasons, specific hotels and limited-access experiences. The standard design process is built for longer lead times.
My trip is around 2 months away. Can you help? +
Yes, with an adjusted scope — an expedited plan, planning the highest-impact portion of the trip, or a "core blueprint" you can execute quickly. The tradeoff is fewer iterations and tighter choice sets.
Can you plan only part of a trip? +
Yes. Common partial scopes include: the first or last segment, a single base with day structure, or a routing and hotel strategy you then extend yourself.
Do you work with any destination? +
No. We work from a curated set of destinations — Japan, South Korea, England and Puglia — where our knowledge is grounded in real, firsthand familiarity.
Do you provide support while I'm travelling? +
Yes — lightweight WhatsApp-style support for adjustments and on-the-ground questions, within the boundaries set in your package.
What if plans change after delivery? +
You'll have a clear pathway to rework essentials. Larger changes typically become a new or extended scope, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions.
What do you need from me to start? +
Dates or windows, rough budget, who's travelling, any non-negotiables, and a fast read on your preferences — what you love, what you avoid, how you like your days to feel.
